Blaque Diamonds was formed by producer & songwriter Todd Burton , aka “Ty Traxx” , a key member of Billboard Charting GOSPEL Trio “Half Mile Home” and label head of Traxx Off Da Heexy . Todd met Shar Kriztin as she was applying for a job opportunity at his place of business. Todd hired Shar on the spot as his receptionist and shortly after they began discussing music and began to build a working relationship. Months later Shar Kriztin introduced her best friend Jewelz Jackson to Todd as her partner in the music business, and with this friendship history was made. Blaque Diamonds has a unique sound and style that sets them apart from your average girl group. Shar Kriztin and Jewelz Jackson are black women that stand in the gap for the majority of women. Matt Sanchez is a rapper/singer-songwriter, model, and actor. He is Egyptian, Puerto Rican and Haitian. Matt, along with his brother and little sister were adopted by a loving lesbian couple in the Bronx, New York. His childhood was filled with challenges, including often being the subject of bullying throughout school which led to challenges surrounding self image. However, Matt’s mother, Rosie, was a consistent cheerleader and pushed him to do well in school. Matt graduated early, at the age of 16, and enrolled in Berkeley College. He majored in marketing, but felt like it wasn’t the direction his life was meant to take. He discussed this with his parents and his mother, Rosie, encouraged him to follow his passion. It was around this same time that Rosie became ill and later succumbed to her battle with cancer in 2018.
